Description

Reaction vessel 500 ml DN 100 is a cylindrical laboratory reactor made of borosilicate glass 3.3 for temperature-controlled synthesis and process work. The graduated vessel includes a temperature control jacket, a plan flange with groove (DN 100), two GL 18 side necks and a standard ground-joint drain valve in the 10 mm version for controlled emptying. Outer diameter is 130 mm, inner diameter 100 mm and height 230 mm; nominal volume is 0,5 l with a net weight of 1,218 kg. Supplied as a single piece, it is well suited to small-scale batch reactions, crystallisations and jacketed heating or cooling experiments. Manufactured by Witeg, the combination of graduated scale, dual GL 18 ports and bottom drain supports flexible setup of stirrers, sensors or feed lines while maintaining thermal control of the medium. The borosilicate glass 3.3 construction provides the chemical and thermal resistance expected in routine laboratory reactor applications.

Questions about Reaction vessel 500ml, DN100, with groov

What is this article?

Reaction vessel 500ml, DN100, with groov is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Witeg for laboratory use. It sits in Microcentrifuge & reaction tubes, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microcentrifuge tube, the familiar 1.5 mL or 2 mL flip-cap tube, holds a small reaction or a spin-down. The cap style, the centrifugal-force rating and whether the tube is low-binding are the specification. A PCR tube is thinner and is a different article.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
