Research® plus 8-channel pipette is a mechanical variable-volume air-cushion multichannel pipette for 120–1,200 µL in dark green finish. It uses the familiar three-button operating concept—one control for volume selection, one for pipetting and one for tip ejection—and is intended for accurate, simple and ergonomic manual pipetting of aqueous solutions. Developed according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the instrument offers low operating and tip-ejection forces to reduce hand and arm strain. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises attachment forces on models up to 1 mL. Temporary adjustment can be performed within seconds to improve accuracy with difficult liquids such as ethanol or when working at altitude, after which the pipette can be returned to factory calibration without recalibration. The full pipette or only the lower part may be autoclaved as required. High-quality materials provide strong UV and chemical resistance. Channel numbering supports consistent orientation, and individual channels can be removed when greater flexibility is needed.
