Research® plus fixed-volume pipette 100 µL yellow is a single-channel mechanical air-cushion pipette for accurate, simple and ergonomic manual pipetting of aqueous solutions. Colour-coded yellow, this fixed 100 µL model replaces order number 3121000074 and forms part of the Research® plus range. Standard three-button operation offers separate controls for volume setting, pipetting and tip ejection. Developed to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the pipette from manufacturer Eppendorf ranks among instruments with the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces, reducing hand and arm strain. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises attachment forces for pipettes up to 1 mL. Quick temporary adjustment improves accuracy with difficult liquids such as ethanol or at high altitude, with return to factory calibration without recalibration. The entire pipette or only the lower part can be autoclaved for proper decontamination as required.
