The instrument uses the familiar three-button layout—one control for volume selection, one for pipetting and one for tip ejection. This fixed 10 µL yellow variant replaces order number 3121000023 within the Research® plus product family. Built on the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the pipette from manufacturer Eppendorf ranks among those with the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces available, thereby limiting strain on hand and arm. The spring-loaded tip cone, fitted on pipettes up to 1 mL, reduces the force required to attach tips. Users can perform a rapid secondary adjustment to maintain accuracy when handling challenging liquids such as ethanol or when working at elevated altitudes, then restore factory calibration without recalibrating. For decontamination, either the complete pipette or only the lower part can be autoclaved as needed.
