Research® plus fixed-volume pipette 200 µL blue is a single-channel mechanical air-cushion pipette for accurate, simple and ergonomic manual pipetting of aqueous solutions. Colour-coded blue, this fixed 200 µL model replaces order number 3121000090 and is part of the Research® plus range. Standard three-button operation supplies separate controls for volume setting, pipetting and tip ejection. Developed on the principles of the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the pipette from manufacturer Eppendorf delivers among the lowest operating and tip-ejection forces on the market, reducing load on hand and arm. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises attachment forces for all pipettes up to 1 mL. Rapid temporary adjustment supports accuracy with challenging liquids such as ethanol or during work at high altitude, with straightforward return to factory calibration without recalibration. The full pipette or only the lower part can be autoclaved as needed to ensure proper decontamination. High-grade materials give high UV and chemical resistance; dedicated single-channel lower parts for aggressive chemicals are available. The instrument is supplied as 1 pc.
