ROTAVISC SBS me-vi HELI Complete is a rotational viscometer package for fast, precise viscosity determination across a broad application range. Steel ball bearing (SBS) technology replaces a conventional jewel bearing, giving the instrument high robustness for high sample throughput, frequent spindle changes, harsher environments or regular relocation between workplaces. The viscosity measuring range extends from 100 to 40.000.000 mPas. Accuracy is ± 1 % of the measuring range for Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids, with reproducibility of ± 0,2 %. The motorised HELISTAND moves the mounted viscometer and rotating body slowly and evenly up and down through the sample, enabling viscosity measurement in motion. A large 4,3″ TFT display offers intuitive menu guidance; a digital level supports correct start conditions and a simple ramp function eases recurring tasks. Speed is adjustable continuously or via programmes and individual steps. Supplied as a complete package from manufacturer IKA, the system suits both routine and demanding laboratory viscosity work.
