Description

Safety canister V2A with dispenser and pressure relief valve, 20 l is a stainless-steel vessel designed for filling, transport and storage of flammable liquids. Constructed from stainless steel 1.4301, it combines chemical resistance with a compact form and a wall thickness of 0,8 mm. Explosion protection is achieved through a flame arrester and a pressure relief valve that equalises pressure from approximately 0,3 bar. The unit features a self-closing fine dispenser with separate ventilation plus a ventilation screw that permits manual air supply during use or pressure equalisation in storage. Solid stainless-steel handles and a 1 1/2'' closure thread with PTFE seals complete the design. Supplied by manufacturer Bürkle, this 20 l canister suits laboratory and industrial handling of combustible media. Net weight is 3,7 kg, offering a practical balance of capacity and durability for routine dispensing, transport and storage tasks.

What is this article?

Safety can 304, dosage spout, relief valve, 20 l is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Canisters & jerrycans, inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A canister or jerrycan holds litres, not millilitres, and it is shaped to be carried and to pour. The material has to survive the liquid for the whole time the can sits in the store.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
