Safety Waste Cap "LISA" V3.0 – S65 is a modular laboratory closure system engineered for the safe collection and disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. This latest-generation, universally expandable modular concept provides an exceptionally wide choice of threads, ports and extension options for solvent-waste handling. The base unit carries the S65 thread and is delivered with 23 accessory components so the assembly is ready for immediate use. Four fittings accept capillaries of 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter, while three hose connectors accommodate tubing of 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter. Unused openings are sealed with the supplied PFA and PTFE blind plugs. A dedicated port allows direct attachment of an exhaust-air filter or funnel. The 360° freely rotatable screw cap enables container exchange without twisting the connected tubing. Constructed principally from chemically resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the satellite parts from manufacturer SCAT deliver reliable performance against aggressive organic solvents. When combined with an activated-carbon exhaust filter the system blocks harmful vapours and maintains safe pressure equalisation inside the waste vessel.
