Description
Sample scoop SteriPlast® Bio-PE, sterile, 50 ml is a disposable sampling scoop made from Green PE bioplastic based on renewable raw materials. With a nominal volume of 50 ml (0,05 l) and a length of 160 mm, the white high-density polyethylene (HDPE) scoop is suited to powders, granules and pastes. It is produced and packed under cleanroom class 7 (10.000) conditions, individually sealed in Bio-PE film and gamma-ray sterilised for single-use sampling. Green PE delivers the handling properties of conventional polyethylene while remaining fully recyclable. The scoop meets EU food-contact and FDA guidelines. Offered in packs of 10 pieces from manufacturer Bürkle, it supports hygienic workflows in laboratories, quality control and production where sterility and clean material contact matter. The white surface aids visual checks of sampled media, and the bio-based polymer supports sustainability-minded lab practice without sacrificing the mechanical behaviour needed for routine powder and paste transfer.

Questions about Sampling scoop SteriPlast Bio-PE, sterile, 50 ml
What is this article?
Sampling scoop SteriPlast Bio-PE, sterile, 50 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
