SteriPlast® sample scoop is a sterile disposable sampling scoop manufactured from high-quality white polystyrene (PS) with a nominal volume of 2000 ml (2 l). With a length of 381 mm, it is intended for sensitive sampling of powders, granules and pastes across many material types. Units are produced, assembled and individually packaged under ISO Class 7 cleanroom conditions and subsequently sterilised by gamma irradiation to meet stringent purity demands. The ergonomic form and gently rising front edge make the scoop easy to handle and to place down without losing sample. Disposable use removes the need for cleaning or re-sterilisation, saving time and resources and improving workflow efficiency in laboratories and production facilities. Avoiding reprocessing also lowers staff exposure to potentially hazardous substances and eliminates cleaning of soiled multi-use instruments. Individual packaging ensures each scoop remains sterile and free from contamination until use, while single-use operation prevents cross-contamination between samples or products.
