Description
Sample spatula SteriPlast® Bio is a sterile disposable sampling tool made from white Green PE bio-plastic derived from renewable raw materials. At 150 mm length it combines a long, ergonomically shaped, stable handle with a pointed blade, allowing direct piercing of paper or plastic sacks for clean sample access. The bio-based polyethylene retains the sampling performance of conventional PE yet is fully recyclable. Each spatula is produced and packaged under cleanroom class 7 conditions, individually wrapped and gamma-sterilised for single-use hygiene. The design supports reliable collection of powders, granules and pastes in laboratory, quality-control and production environments. Manufactured to meet EU food-contact and FDA guideline requirements, the SteriPlast® Bio spatula (Bürkle) suits sensitive sampling workflows where contamination control and sustainable materials matter. Supplied in packs of 10 pieces, it offers a practical, ready-to-use format for routine and controlled sampling tasks without compromising material integrity or handling comfort.

Questions about Sampling spatula SteriPlast Bio-PE, sterile, 150mm
What is this article?
Sampling spatula SteriPlast Bio-PE, sterile, 150mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
