Description

Sartobind® Q Nano 1 mL with 4 mm bed height is a strong ion exchanger membrane adsorber for polishing monoclonal antibodies and clearing key process impurities. Each Nano unit combines a 1 mL bed volume with a 4 mm bed height for compact laboratory-scale work. The Q ligand supports removal of viruses, DNA, host cell proteins, leached Protein A, and endotoxins. As size exclusion effects are negligible, these strong ion exchangers are suited for purification of viruses such as adeno or lentiviruses and display one order of magnitude higher dynamic binding capacity. This pack contains 4 pc(s) from manufacturer Sartorius, giving parallel runs or replicate polishing trials without changing bed geometry. Net weight is 0,040 kg and gross weight is 0,120 kg for the multipack. Membrane anion-exchange performance fits flow-through polishing and related contaminant-clearance steps in antibody and viral vector downstream processing. Development laboratories can use the Nano format to explore Sartobind® Q operating windows under controlled conditions before transferring methods to larger capsule formats.

This article is part of Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, in SPE & sample preparation.

Questions about Sartobind Q nano capsule 1 mL bed volume

What is this article?

Sartobind Q nano capsule 1 mL bed volume is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Sartorius for laboratory use. It sits in Sorbents, silica gel & ion exchangers, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

Loose sorbent, silica gel and ion-exchange resin are the phases bought in bulk to pack a column or to stir into a solution. Particle size and activity, or the ion-exchange capacity, are the specification. A TLC silica and a flash silica of different particle sizes are not the same separation.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
