Description

Bunsen burner for natural gas with safety valve is a laboratory gas burner designed for safer natural-gas heating. In addition to a needle valve and flame stabiliser, it incorporates a safety valve that automatically interrupts the gas supply if the flame extinguishes unexpectedly, reducing the risk of unburned gas release. The safety valves are homologated and supplied with a CE conformity certificate in accordance with EU Directive 2016/426. The burner tube is manufactured from nickel-plated brass and measures 11 mm in diameter by 130 mm in height, offering a compact format for standard laboratory setups. Connection may be made via a standard hose fitting secured by a hose clamp (not included) or via a 1/4″ threaded connection. Operating pressure covers 30–200 mbar, with 50–150 mbar recommended for stable combustion. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Labbox, the burner has a net weight of 0,482 kg and is appropriate for teaching laboratories, analytical benches and preparative work where an automatic flame-failure cut-off is required. Nickel-plated brass construction supports durability, while the combined needle and safety valves give both fine control and an added layer of operational protection.

Questions about Sekur-flam burner for natural gas

What is this article?

Sekur-flam burner for natural gas is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Bunsen & gas burners, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A Bunsen or gas burner is an open flame for quick heating, for flaming a loop, or for bending glass. The gas, natural gas or cartridge, has to match the burner. It is the wrong heat for a flammable solvent.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
