Description

SICCO gloves, size 8, natural rubber are ambidextrous protective gloves intended for laboratory and containment openings of Ø 190 mm. Made from natural rubber, they offer high flexibility together with resistance to tensile stress, perforation and abrasion, while a low tension value supports only limited static charge build-up in use. Each glove is 800 mm long and is supplied as one pair, so both hands are covered for glovebox, isolator or dry-box work. The size 8 cut balances reach and manual control for routine handling tasks. With a net weight of 0,51 kg per pair, these gloves from manufacturer Bohlender suit chemical-protection and rubber-glove applications where mechanical durability and comfortable flex are required. They can be worn on either hand, which simplifies pairing and stock control. Designed for circular ports of 190 mm diameter, they integrate readily into standard SICCO-style glove systems used in research and industrial laboratories handling powders, solvents or sensitive materials under controlled atmospheres.

This article is part of Latex & vinyl disposable gloves, in Gloves.

Questions about SICCO Gloves, Gr. / Size 8 Natural rubber, size 8

What is this article?

SICCO Gloves, Gr. / Size 8 Natural rubber, size 8 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Latex & vinyl disposable gloves, inside Gloves, in Lab safety equipment.

Latex disposable gloves fit closely and recover their shape. Vinyl is looser and is chosen when latex allergy is the concern. Both are for splash and incidental contact, not for prolonged contact with a chemical. Powder and powder-free, and the AQL, are the other choices.

A glove is a barrier on the hand, and the barrier is only as good as the hazard it was tested against. Nitrile, latex and vinyl disposable gloves are for splash and for incidental contact. A chemical-resistant glove is a different article, tested for permeation by named chemicals. A cut-resistant glove is for blades and edges. Cold and heat need yet another material. No one glove does all of these. Glove standards are listed under ISO hand protection. The legal text is the PPE Regulation. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP. Practice is at EU-OSHA.
