Description

SO4 14564 is a sulphate reaction cuvette test for photometric determination of sulphate across the measuring range 100–1000 mg/l SO4. It requires only a 1 ml sample volume and follows the barium sulphate method in accordance with US 4500-SO42 E and EPA 375.4. The pack includes 25 round 16 mm cuvettes ready for immediate use with PhotoLab® photometers. Combicheck CC10 supports system verification, and each batch is accompanied by a certificate. Developed by manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, this cuvette test provides a convenient format for elevated sulphate levels in water analysis. Pre-filled reagents minimise handling steps and deliver reproducible absorbance readings within the specified range. The compact kit is well suited to routine laboratory workflows where rapid, standardised sulphate quantification is required without extensive sample pretreatment.

Questions about SO4 14564, Sulfate Reaction Cuvette Test Measuring range:

What is this article?

SO4 14564, Sulfate Reaction Cuvette Test Measuring range: is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Cuvette tests (Nanocolor), inside Test kits & water analysis, in Lab chemicals.

A cuvette test is a ready optical cell containing the reagents for one water or one chemical determination. The sample is added, the cell goes into a photometer, and the range printed on the box is the range of the answer. It is a method, packaged, not a bottle of reagent to assemble.

A test kit turns a chemical question into a colour, a titre or a reading on a strip, so the operator does not have to assemble the method from separate reagents. A cuvette test is a ready optical cell. A strip is a field reading. The range printed on the kit is the range where the answer means something. Outside it, the kit is silent or wrong. The substances inside are on PubChem. Water measurement traces to NIST.
