Description

SONOMIC MC 1001 is a tabletop ultrasonic bath for simultaneous reprocessing of up to 12 rinseable MIC instruments and offers a bath volume of 42,5 l. Its key advantage is that every instrument is cleaned and tested individually via a dedicated adapter by multiple suction-rinse cycles. Addition of a suitable disinfectant allows chemical disinfection during the cleaning step. Twelve identical adapters accept rinseable MIC instruments from 3 to 10 mm diameter without exchanging seals; the innovative twist-seal design guarantees full sealing on the instrument outer shaft. Ultrasonic-assisted suction rinsing at the distal end flushes contamination out of the lumen against the direction of entry while fresh solution is drawn in, preventing soil from settling at narrow points such as the handle. Released debris is held back in an accessible filter. A programme-integrated test checks free passage of each instrument and flags non-patent devices. From manufacturer Bandelin, the bath has a sloping tank base and welded outlet for complete drainage, and is operated via a touchscreen that displays process status and final inspection results with guided prompts. Ultrasonic peak power is 2400 W, heating power 400 W and rated power 600 W. Internal dimensions measure 650 × 400 × 160/170 mm. Besides MIC instruments, other rinseable parts (3–10 mm) and loose instruments such as scissors and forceps can be processed in the basket.

Questions about SONOREX ST 30.1 DT Control unit with temperature display

What is this article?

SONOREX ST 30.1 DT Control unit with temperature display is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic baths & cleaners, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic cleaner drops parts into a bath where collapsing bubbles scrub joints and bores. Tank volume and ultrasonic power are the ratings. A basket keeps items off the tank floor, where the transducers are. The liquid is usually water plus a cleaning concentrate, not a strong solvent, unless the tank is rated for it.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
