SONOREX TECHNIK FA 220 filtration is a filter aggregate for removing dirt particles from cleaning solutions, helping to prolong the service life of ultrasonic baths from a volume of 13 litres upwards. The cleaning system is intended for filtering aqueous cleaning media at liquid temperatures of up to 70 °C maximum. The unit consists of two polypropylene (PP) filter housings and a magnetically coupled centrifugal pump, assembled on a stainless-steel sheet console. A pre-filter shields the pump against coarse soiling, and a fine filter delivers depth filtration. Additional fittings comprise a pressure switch, a ball valve, a switch box with ON push-button, a main switch and a 2-metre connection cable with protective-contact plug. When the fine filter becomes clogged, the pressure switch shuts the pump off so the filter can be exchanged; flow rate is set via the ball valve. The pump of the filter aggregate must stand below the liquid level of the bath. Supplied as ultrasonic-device accessory from manufacturer Bandelin, the FA 220 supports continuous conditioning of aqueous process media in laboratory and technical cleaning applications.
