Description
Spiral grounding cable with 3 m extension length provides reliable equipotential bonding in laboratory and industrial environments. Equipped with a stainless steel grounding clamp type HD and a 10 mm eyelet, the cable combines low electrical resistance with high mechanical strength. The chemically resistant and abrasion-resistant cable sheath protects the 4 mm² conductor; overall cable diameter is 6 mm. The HD clamp measures 235 mm in length and opens to approximately 40 mm, making it suitable for containers from 200 litres, IBCs and mixing vessels. Approved to ATEX II 1GD T6, the assembly meets VGSEB 734.6 requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. This robust spiral grounding solution from manufacturer Asecos is supplied as a single unit and supports safe handling of flammable liquids and powders where static discharge must be controlled.
This article is part of Clamps & bossheads, in Stands, clamps & racks.

Questions about spiral grounding cable
What is this article?
spiral grounding cable is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Clamps & bossheads, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.
A bosshead grips the rod. A clamp grips the flask or the condenser, usually through two jaws with cork or vinyl faces. Three-finger and two-finger clamps hold different shapes. The jaw opening is the specification.
A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
