Description

Drum pump stainless steel with hose and tap, 36 cm is a versatile piston pump for transferring flammable or aggressive liquids and chemicals with flexible positioning of the receiving container. A 1,2 m outlet hose with stopcock guides liquid directly into the target vessel and allows accurate dosing while preventing unwanted runoff. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4301 with PTFE seals, the pump is electrically conductive and intended for lightly flammable or combustible media when earthed as required. It is designed for explosion zones 0 and 1 (explosion groups II A and II B) and is DEKRA-tested, supporting high safety standards in laboratory, production and workshop use. From manufacturer Bürkle, this model suits drums, containers and other vessels of roughly 60 to 1000 l content and immersion depths up to 91 cm. The robust build ensures long service life even in moist or chemically aggressive surroundings and provides an economical solution compared with conventional high-flammability solvent pumps. Suitable for chemistry, pharmacy and food-industry liquid handling where controlled, flexible filling is essential. Pack size 1 pc(s).

Questions about Stainless steel barrel pump w/d. hose/stopc.,36cm

What is this article?

Stainless steel barrel pump w/d. hose/stopc.,36cm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Drum, barrel & transfer pumps, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

A drum or barrel pump transfers tens of litres from a can that is too heavy to pour. Hand and electric drives differ. The tube material, stainless steel or plastic, has to survive the liquid. It is a transfer tool, not a metering pipette.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
