Description
STAMMOPUR 24 is a VAH-listed concentrate for intensive cleaning and chemical disinfection, used manually in ultrasonic baths and immersion baths. It supports reprocessing of personal protective equipment—especially respiratory masks, goggles and face shields—and is also applied to laboratory equipment and instrumentation in non-medical laboratories. As a medical-device concentrate it enables non-fixing, disinfecting intensive cleaning of general, surgical, invasive and non-invasive instruments and accessories in CSSD, clinics and practices; further steps are required for critical and semi-critical devices, and it is not for final disinfection. From manufacturer Bandelin, the mildly alkaline, aldehyde-, chlorine- and phenol-free formulation is residue-free rinsable, biodegradable and highly material-compatible, including light metals within stated contact times. Spectrum includes bactericidal and yeasticidal activity plus limited virucidal efficacy, including avian influenza virus H5N1. Typical ultrasound dosing is 1 % for 15 min or 2 % for 5 min; without ultrasound, longer times apply. Prepare cold (max. 45 °C) with water of at least drinking quality; incompatible with aldehyde products. Material compatibility on MSA AUER breathing connections is confirmed by EXAM expert opinion. Supplied as a 10,0 litre concentrate pack for trained professional users.

Questions about STAMMOPUR DR 8 Cleaning and disinfecting agent – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 1
What is this article?
STAMMOPUR DR 8 Cleaning and disinfecting agent – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 1 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic cleaning concentrates, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.
An ultrasonic concentrate is the chemistry added to the bath. Cavitation lifts soil. The concentrate holds it so it does not resettle. The dilution and the metals it may touch are the specification. A concentrate is not itself a disinfectant unless it says so.
An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
