Description

STAMMOPUR GR is an instrument basic cleaner concentrate for manual basic cleaning of medical and dental instruments, accessories and components of medical devices in an ultrasonic bath. It is used in the instrument repair process within the AEMP (reprocessing unit for medical devices) in clinics and medical or dental practices, outside regular instrument reprocessing. The preparation removes tarnish colours, metal oxides such as rust, mineral residues including limescale, and soiling burnt in by sterilisation from stainless steel, precious metal, titanium, glass, porcelain, ceramics and plastics. This concentrate from manufacturer Bandelin is biodegradable and strongly acidic; composition per 100 g includes more than 10 % phosphoric acid plus non-ionic and cationic surfactants. Application is exclusively by the indirect ultrasonic method in insert vessels at 50–60 °C, dosage 5 %, exposure time 3–10 minutes. It is unsuitable for acid-sensitive materials such as light metals or damaged chrome plating, and must not be used on drills, rotating small instruments, optics, light guides or bonded parts. Pack content is 5,0 litres.

Questions about STAMMOPUR R Instrument cleaner – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 2,0 liters

What is this article?

STAMMOPUR R Instrument cleaner – concentrate, Capacity/Volume: 2,0 liters is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bandelin for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrasonic cleaning concentrates, inside Ultrasonic baths & lab washers, in Lab instruments.

An ultrasonic concentrate is the chemistry added to the bath. Cavitation lifts soil. The concentrate holds it so it does not resettle. The dilution and the metals it may touch are the specification. A concentrate is not itself a disinfectant unless it says so.

An ultrasonic bath cleans by cavitation: the sound collapses tiny bubbles against the surface and lifts soil out of joints a brush cannot reach. The chemistry of the bath liquid still matters. A laboratory glassware washer is the machine that replaces hand washing when the load is large or the result has to be repeatable. Rinse water quality decides whether the glass comes out spotted. The ware being washed is listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
