Description
Nalgene™ square PETG media bottles with septum closure are sterile, tray-packed containers designed for packaging biological and diagnostic reagents that must be filled aseptically or receive additives by syringe. Each transparent bottle provides a 125 ml capacity in robust, break-resistant PETG and adopts a square profile that conserves bench and storage space. The included high-density polyethylene closure features a silicone/PTFE septum, so liquid contacts only an inert, non-stick PTFE surface during needle access. The wide-mouth finish is sized 38–430, with a neck inner diameter of 28 mm; overall bottle diameter is 54 mm and height is 110 mm. Bottles and closures are sterile to a SAL of 10⁻⁶ and are leakproof under the stated Nalgene™ test criteria. For cleanroom applications the bottles are supplied on plastic trays double-sealed in plastic bags. These media bottles from manufacturer Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics meet USP Class IV standards and are noncytotoxic. They are well suited to sterile filling and syringe-based addition of supplements. Case quantity is 96 pieces.
