Steriliser STERI 250 is a glass-bead steriliser that provides immediate disinfection and sterilisation of small instruments directly at the workplace and is especially suitable for laminar-flow installations. Biological investigations confirm that the constant temperature of 250 °C maintained in the glass-bead container reliably destroys all microorganisms and spores within a few seconds; only the immersed portion of the instrument is sterilised. The unit incorporates a chromium-steel bead container, a powerful heating element for short heat-up times, and a precision thermostat with integrated thermometer and temperature limiter. Supply voltage is 110 / 120 V or 220 / 240 V at 90 W; heat-up to 250 °C takes approximately 18 min. The INOX stainless-steel inner container measures Ø × D 4 × 8 cm and holds 150 g of STERI glass beads. A glass dish and INOX lid are included; insulation consists of asbestos-free mineral wool. External dimensions are 14,5 × 12,5 × 14 cm and the weight is 1400 g.
