Description

The stop-it tubing clamp Easy-Click, Ø 10 mm, blue is a compact hose clamp for stepless regulation or complete shut-off of flow in flexible tubing carrying liquids or gases. It is made from highly heat- and chemical-resistant PVDF plastic with a galvanized steel bracket and aluminium components, and remains temperature-resistant up to 140 °C. The Easy-Click closure opens and closes in any position without tedious screwing on or off. A knurled nut provides fine, continuous flow control even on existing hose connections; the tubing is pressed over a broad area against a stable steel hook, helping to avoid hose damage. Designed for flexible lines with an outer diameter up to 10 mm, this blue stop-it clamp from manufacturer Bürkle is a practical choice wherever flow must be adjusted or stopped in laboratory and technical setups. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,007 kg, it is light, durable and easy to position on the line.

Questions about stop-it hose clamp, Easy-Click, Ø 10 mm, blue

What is this article?

stop-it hose clamp, Easy-Click, Ø 10 mm, blue is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
