Description

stop-it tubing clamp Easy-Click Ø 20 mm yellow is a laboratory hose clamp for stepless flow regulation and complete shut-off of liquids or gases in flexible tubing. The body is made from highly heat- and chemical-resistant PVDF, combined with aluminium and a galvanised steel bracket, and is temperature-resistant up to 140 °C. Its Easy-Click closure opens and closes in any position without screwing or unscrewing. A knurled nut provides fine, continuous adjustment; the hose is pressed evenly against a sturdy steel hook so that damage to the tubing is avoided. Designed for flexible lines with an outer diameter of up to 20 mm, this yellow stop-it model from manufacturer Bürkle is supplied as one piece and supports clear colour coding in multi-line setups. It can be fitted to existing hose connections wherever reliable regulation or isolation of flow is required in laboratory, process or technical environments.

This article is part of Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about stop-it hose clamp, Easy-Click, Ø 20 mm, yellow

What is this article?

stop-it hose clamp, Easy-Click, Ø 20 mm, yellow is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
