The PRODURAN® straight-through valve stopcock with a bore of 0–10 mm is a precision laboratory valve for fine control of gases and liquids in glass apparatus. A height-adjustable spindle with integrated fine thread enables the most precise setting of the valve opening. Thick-walled connections render the stopcock suitable for high-vacuum service. The composite system of DURAN® glass, metal and plastics ensures that flowing media contact only DURAN® glass and PTFE, permitting grease-free operation on the polished surface. This handy valve from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is easy to loosen and dismantle. An anti-unscrew lock prevents complete withdrawal of the valve pin, while the readjustable pin extends service life. Ideal for dosing and regulating gases and liquids, it is particularly suited for incorporation into glass vacuum apparatus such as Schlenk lines, vacuum-inert gas lines or nitrogen distributor manifolds. Supplied as a glass article for further processing in a single-piece pack.
