Description
PILZ® laboratory bench temperature controller WRT570 is a universal electronic regulator for connecting thermal equipment such as heating mantles, heating tapes and similar devices via a Schuko socket and separate sensor inputs. Precise electronic temperature control with matching sensors supports more reproducible laboratory results; the unit can also replace conventional power controllers. Supply voltage is 90…260 VAC 50/60 Hz with a rated current of 6,3 A on resistive load. Protection rating is IP40, protection class I, and a durable hybrid relay is specified for more than 2,5 million switching cycles. Housing dimensions are 158 × 100 × 199 mm (W × H × D). Features include Fast Adaptive Tuning (FAT), simultaneous actual- and setpoint display, an additional safety cut-off relay, main on/off switch, earthing socket, multicolour signal LED and an LCD menu in DE, EN, FR, ES and JP. Sensor inputs accept thermocouples K, J, N, E and resistance sensors Pt100, Pt1000, Nickel 120, NTC10k and NTC100k via one Lemo size-1 socket and one miniature connector. This controller from manufacturer Winkler is supplied with a 1,5 m Schuko mains cable for direct bench use.

Questions about Temperature controller PILZ® series WRT560SW, 230V Schuko plug
What is this article?
Temperature controller PILZ® series WRT560SW, 230V Schuko plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
