Description

testo 184 G1 data logger for shock, humidity and temperature monitors sensitive goods such as electronics, art, pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs during transport over an unlimited operating period. At the destination, a glance at the display or LEDs shows whether configured limit values were maintained. Connecting the logger to a computer immediately generates a PDF report with all relevant transport data, suitable for long-term archiving to the PDF/A standard. Configuration file, operating manual and the PDF report of recorded measurement data are stored directly on the device, so nothing is lost. Measurement memory holds 1000 values for shock and 64000 values for humidity and temperature; the measuring cycle is freely selectable from 1 min to 24 h. Battery life is 120 days with a user-replaceable standard battery. This logger from manufacturer Testo starts and stops with simple buttons, needs no software installation or download, and is compliant with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and HACCP. Optional wireless NFC transfer to a testo fast printer supports on-site readout.

Questions about testo 184 G1 - Data logger, for, vibration, humidity and temperature

What is this article?

testo 184 G1 - Data logger, for, vibration, humidity and temperature is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
