Description
ThermoMixer® FP with thermoblock for microtest plates and deepwell plates is a laboratory instrument for simultaneous heating and mixing of samples in plate formats. It delivers efficient mixing of up to 2,000 rpm with outstanding performance from the unique 2DMix-Control technology, while Anti-Spill technology helps prevent lid wetting and cross-contamination. The unit is supplied complete with lid and operates at 220–240 V/50–60 Hz (EU). Predefined temperature keys for 37 °C, 42 °C, 56 °C and 95 °C support simple, intuitive operation, and a very fast heat-up rate of up to 18 °C/min shortens waiting times between protocol steps. Compatibility with the Eppendorf ThermoTop (condens.protect®) enables condensate-free sample handling, and ergonomic use follows the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®. External dimensions are 390 mm width, 290 mm height and 300 mm depth, with a net weight of 6,100 kg. This ThermoMixer from manufacturer Eppendorf is suited to molecular biology, biochemistry and routine laboratory workflows that require reliable temperature control and thorough mixing in microtest and deepwell plates. Pack size is 1 pc(s).

Questions about ThermoMixer FP w.thermob. 220-240V INT
What is this article?
ThermoMixer FP w.thermob. 220-240V INT is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Hot plates & heating blocks, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A hot plate heats a flat-bottom vessel from below, often with stirring. A heating block holds tubes in machined holes so each tube sees the same temperature. The block's hole diameter has to match the tube, or the heat never arrives.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
