Description

TOC Standard ROTI®Calipure 2000 mg/l is an aqueous calibration solution prepared as potassium hydrogen phthalate for total organic carbon determination. The standard is Reported physical properties include a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C, in line with a dilute aqueous formulation compatible with typical TOC analyser pathways. The 2000 mg/l level is appropriate for higher calibration points, spike studies or working standards within established methods. Presented in the ROTI®Calipure range from manufacturer Carl ROTH, the solution offers a potassium hydrogen phthalate-based carbon reference intended to support reproducible analytical response. Glass packaging enables straightforward visual assessment before sampling and suits everyday laboratory handling. With quantity, the product is practical for method development, system suitability testing and batch-wise controls while limiting excess volume. Density and boiling characteristics correspond to water-based TOC standards commonly applied on combustion or wet-oxidation platforms across environmental monitoring, process control and research applications.

What is this article?

TOC Standard, ROTI®Calipure 2000 mg/l , 100 ml, glass is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Reagents for analysis (Ph. Eur., ASTM, DIN), inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

A reagent for analysis is a chemical whose impurities are limited so they do not become a signal in a titration, a digestion or a photometric method. Pharmacopoeia, ASTM and DIN names point at different limit lists. The grade, not only the identity, is the purchase.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
