The reduced height versus conventional 50 mL conical tubes improves accessibility with pipettes and tips for smaller volumes, helping reduce cross-contamination risk, and cuts overall height by roughly 20 % for more compact storage. One-handed SnapTec® lid operation enables fast liquid addition and removal. The tubes withstand centrifugation forces up to 17.000 × g and maintain a secure lid seal over a wide temperature range. High-quality USP Class 6 raw material, free from mould-release agents, plasticisers and biocides during manufacture, supports sample integrity, high g-force performance and clear sample and pellet visibility. Supplied by manufacturer Eppendorf, the SnapTec® 25 mL tubes can be autoclaved at 121 °C for 20 min and are ACT-certified through independent sustainability validation by My Green Lab for use in established laboratory workflows.
