twin.tec® Trace PCR Plate 96 BioBased is a skirted 96-well plate that combines standard PCR performance with a reduced consumable-related CO2 footprint in the laboratory. Wells hold 150 µL and use extremely thin-walled polypropylene for efficient heat transfer, while the rigid polycarbonate frame resists warping, bending or breakage during incubation and centrifugation. Raised well rims support secure sealing and lower the risk of cross-contamination. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on each plate improve traceability, and the OptiTrack® matrix with optical guide grid enables fast, accurate alignment during manual pipetting. The one-piece construction from manufacturer Eppendorf unites a stable frame with polypropylene wells for consistent results. Plates are PCR clean, batch-certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors, ACT-certified by My Green Lab for independent sustainability validation, and supplied clear in packs of 25; barcode versions are available on request.
