twin.tec® Trace PCR Plates 96 BioBased LoBind are clear, semi-skirted PCR plates with a 250 µL well volume, combining the LoBind variant with a reduced CO2 footprint for laboratory consumables. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on each plate enhance traceability across laboratory workflows, while the unique laser-engraved optical guidance grid and OptiTrack® matrix allow quick alignment when pipetting manually. A one-piece construction links a polycarbonate frame to polypropylene wells for dependable results: the extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells ensure optimal temperature transfer, and the exceptionally stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame will not warp, bend or break during incubation or centrifugation. Raised well rims facilitate effective sealing and reduce cross-contamination risk. Batch-tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors (PCR clean), the plates from manufacturer Eppendorf come in packs of 25. They are ACT-certified through independent sustainability validation by My Green Lab, with barcode versions available on request.
