With a nominal volume of 382 l, the unit employs a powerful cascade compression refrigeration machine and environmentally friendly refrigerants R-290 and R-170. Thermal insulation is provided by long-life vacuum insulation panels (VIPs), while a novel door-sealing concept helps reduce ice formation. An ergonomic door locking lever supports convenient everyday handling. The corrosion-resistant interior is manufactured entirely from stainless steel and includes removable stainless-steel inner doors together with three flexibly positionable stainless-steel shelves. From manufacturer Binder, the freezer offers a potential-free alarm contact for connection to a house alarm system, an internal data logger with measurement values readable in open format via USB, and an Ethernet interface. Three rear feed-throughs of Ø 28 mm support external connections.
