Description

Universal oven UF1060m is a medical-device universal oven with forced air circulation and a generous 1060 l working chamber for drying, heating and thermal processing in laboratory and clinical environments. The set temperature range spans +20 °C to +300 °C, while the working temperature starts at least 10 °C above ambient up to +300 °C. Supplied with two grid shelves and a stainless steel door, the unit features an electronically adjustable exhaust air flap and fan speed, each controllable from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps. A SingleDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT supports setting of three calibration values, and an integrated data logger stores protocol data for at least ten years. Ethernet connectivity allows readout of logged data, complemented by double overtemperature protection and a factory calibration certificate for +160 °C. The structured stainless steel housing measures 1224 × 1720 × 1035 mm with an interior of 1040 × 1200 × 850 mm. Operation is at 400 V, 50/60 Hz with a maximum power consumption of approximately 7000 W. This model from manufacturer Memmert is designed for demanding universal oven applications requiring reliable forced convection and documented thermal performance.

Questions about Universal oven UF1060m, 1060l, 20-300°C

What is this article?

Universal oven UF1060m, 1060l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
