Description
Universal oven UF260m is a forced-convection laboratory and medical-device oven with a 256 l stainless-steel interior for drying, heating and thermal processing from a working range of at least 10 °C above ambient up to +300 °C (setpoint range +20 °C to +300 °C). The unit is supplied with two grid shelves and a stainless-steel door, and features an electronically adjustable exhaust flap and fan speed, each settable from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps. SingleDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT operation supports setting of three calibration values, while an integrated data logger stores protocol data for at least 10 years and an Ethernet interface enables readout of logged results. Double overtemperature protection and a factory calibration certificate at +160 °C support reliable routine use. Structured stainless-steel housing measures 824 × 1183 × 684 mm with an interior of 640 × 800 × 500 mm; electrical supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz at approximately 3400 W maximum. This Memmert oven suits controlled thermal workflows in research, quality control and medical-device environments where reproducible forced-air heating is required.

Questions about Universal oven UF260m, 256l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UF260m, 256l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
