Description
Volumetric flask class A with batch certificate, 2000 ml amber glass, PE stopper and NS 29/32 ground joint supports accurate large-volume measurements in the laboratory. Fabricated from DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3, the flask provides a nominal volume of 2 l with a tolerance of 0,6 ml and stands 370 mm high. Amber glass construction protects light-sensitive reagents and solutions. The polyethylene stopper ensures a tight seal on the NS 29/32 joint. Supplied by manufacturer Hirschmann with a conformity declaration according to DIN 12600, dated batch identification and compliance with DIN EN ISO 1042, the flask offers full traceability. A free batch calibration certificate is obtainable, and individual or DAkkS calibration certificates are available on request. This class A vessel is suited to quantitative analysis, standard preparation, dilutions and quality-control tasks in chemical, pharmaceutical and research laboratories that require reliable volumetric performance at the 2-litre scale.

Questions about VOLUMET. FLASK A CC 2000 ML, AMBER GLASS POLYST. NS29/32
What is this article?
VOLUMET. FLASK A CC 2000 ML, AMBER GLASS POLYST. NS29/32 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric flasks, inside Volumetric glassware, in Labware.
A volumetric flask is calibrated to contain one volume at a reference temperature, with a single mark on a narrow neck. Class A is the tight tolerance. It is not a storage bottle and it is not for heating. The stopper is part of the calibrated article.
Volumetric glassware is glass that has been calibrated to contain or to deliver one stated volume at a reference temperature. That calibration is the whole point. Class A and class AS have a tighter tolerance than class B. A volumetric flask contains. A pipette and a burette deliver. A measuring cylinder is the coarser reading, used when the volume is not the result. The classes sit under ISO laboratory glassware. The chain back to the unit of volume is the work of the BIPM and of NIST.
