Description
Volumetric flask class A KB 5 ml trapezoid is a precision measuring vessel manufactured from DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 for accurate volumetric work. Blue graduation marks the nominal volume of 5 ml with a tolerance of ±0,025 ml; the flask stands 70 mm high and carries an NS 7/16 ground joint closed by a PE stopper. The trapezoidal body improves bench stability while the class A rating and conformity to DIN EN ISO 1042 guarantee metrological reliability. Each unit is supplied with a conformity declaration according to DIN 12600 and dated batch identification. From manufacturer Hirschmann, optional free batch calibration certificates as well as individual or DAkkS certificates are available on request. Ideal for analytical chemistry, quality-control laboratories and preparation of standard solutions, the flask combines chemical resistance of borosilicate glass 3.3 with clear, permanent blue scale markings. Pack size is 2 pieces, ready for immediate laboratory use.

Questions about VOLUMET. FLASK A CC 5 ML, CONICAL POLYST.BL.GRAD.NS7/16
What is this article?
VOLUMET. FLASK A CC 5 ML, CONICAL POLYST.BL.GRAD.NS7/16 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric flasks, inside Volumetric glassware, in Labware.
A volumetric flask is calibrated to contain one volume at a reference temperature, with a single mark on a narrow neck. Class A is the tight tolerance. It is not a storage bottle and it is not for heating. The stopper is part of the calibrated article.
Volumetric glassware is glass that has been calibrated to contain or to deliver one stated volume at a reference temperature. That calibration is the whole point. Class A and class AS have a tighter tolerance than class B. A volumetric flask contains. A pipette and a burette deliver. A measuring cylinder is the coarser reading, used when the volume is not the result. The classes sit under ISO laboratory glassware. The chain back to the unit of volume is the work of the BIPM and of NIST.
