Description
Volumetric flask class A USP 25 ml amber glass with polyethylene stopper and NS 10/19 joint is manufactured from DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 for high-precision volumetric work. The 25 ml nominal capacity is graduated white and specified to a tighter tolerance of ±0,03 ml under class A and USP requirements. Height is 110 mm; the brown glass protects photosensitive media during preparation of volumetric solutions and standards. A PE stopper provides a reliable seal at the ground joint. USP batch calibration certificates are available free of charge from manufacturer Hirschmann; individual USP certificates can be supplied against surcharge. These flasks meet the demands of pharmaceutical, analytical and quality-control laboratories that require documented USP-compliant volumetric accuracy. The combination of amber DURAN® glass, white graduation and precise NS 10/19 joint supports reproducible results in regulated environments. Pack of 2 pieces.

Questions about VOLUMET. FLASK A USP 25 ML, AMBER GLASS POLYST. NS10/19
What is this article?
VOLUMET. FLASK A USP 25 ML, AMBER GLASS POLYST. NS10/19 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric flasks, inside Volumetric glassware, in Labware.
A volumetric flask is calibrated to contain one volume at a reference temperature, with a single mark on a narrow neck. Class A is the tight tolerance. It is not a storage bottle and it is not for heating. The stopper is part of the calibrated article.
Volumetric glassware is glass that has been calibrated to contain or to deliver one stated volume at a reference temperature. That calibration is the whole point. Class A and class AS have a tighter tolerance than class B. A volumetric flask contains. A pipette and a burette deliver. A measuring cylinder is the coarser reading, used when the volume is not the result. The classes sit under ISO laboratory glassware. The chain back to the unit of volume is the work of the BIPM and of NIST.
