Besides the blue colour for visual detection, a special additive makes the plastic visible to metal detectors and X-ray systems so fragments can be rejected by standard inspection lines. Capacity is embossed on the handle; excess medium is scraped at the upper rim for accurate fill. A flat front edge reaches container floors and corners for residual emptying, and the flat base allows the spoon to rest without spilling. Individually packed and sterilised, cleanroom-manufactured (class 7) from manufacturer Bürkle, the single-use design eliminates cleaning and cross-contamination risk.
