Description

201T-S 3-in-1 combined pH electrode with temperature sensor measures pH and temperature simultaneously and supports automatic temperature compensation. It is intended for pH determination of ordinary aqueous solutions in scientific research, environmental monitoring and quality control. The electrode uses a maintenance-free KCl gel electrolyte that requires no refilling and features a detachable cap for easy cleaning. Its polycarbonate shaft is impact-resistant and corrosion-resistant, making the sensor suitable for laboratory and professional use. The unit is not recommended for low-ionic-strength media such as deionised or distilled water, strongly alkaline solutions (pH > 12), highly corrosive liquids or continuous measurements above 60 °C. Compatible with selected meters from manufacturer APERA Instruments including PH400, PC400, PH400S, PC400S, SX711, SX723, SX736, WS100 and WS200. Technical characteristics include a measuring range of 0 to 14 pH, Ag/AgCl reference system, single ceramic junction, 30 kΩ thermistor, electrode dimensions of Ø12 × 160 mm, 8-pin connector and 1 m cable. Recommended operating temperature is 0 to 80 °C.

Questions about 201T-S 3-in-1 pH/temperature Electrode, ATC enabled, 8-pin Connector

What is this article?

201T-S 3-in-1 pH/temperature Electrode, ATC enabled, 8-pin Connector is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
