Description
MIX 4 MS multi-position magnetic stirrer with four independent stirring positions is a wear-free laboratory unit optimised for simultaneous work with four 2,000 ml Erlenmeyer flasks. Each of the four powerful stations uses the maintenance-free 2mag induction drive to deliver thorough mixing of solutions from 1 ml up to 3,000 ml per position. Speeds are set individually and independently between 100 and 2,000 rpm via master-slave technology; an on/off function and one-button synchronised operation of all positions are also provided. A digital display enables precise speed adjustment, while SoftStart guarantees reliable catching, centring and smooth acceleration of the stir bar even at low speeds. The last operating state is retained after switch-off. The fully encapsulated stainless-steel housing is easy to clean, extremely resistant and rated IP65. Compact dimensions of 245 × 425 × 38 mm and a shipping weight of approximately 9,0 kg make the instrument practical for everyday bench use. Developed and made in Germany by manufacturer 2mag, the stirrer is covered by a three-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects and is intended for continuous laboratory service.

Questions about 2mag - MIX 4 MS Multiple point stirrer 4 independent positions
What is this article?
2mag - MIX 4 MS Multiple point stirrer 4 independent positions is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes 2mag for laboratory use. It sits in Magnetic stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A magnetic stirrer is the motor and the plate under the flask. Many also heat. The stirring capacity is the litres of a water-like liquid it can turn, and a viscous liquid defeats a rating that was measured on water.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
