Description
Electrolyte solution 3,5 M KCl is a refill electrolyte intended for pH electrodes with a double reference junction. The aqueous potassium chloride fill maintains the ionic bridge that supports stable reference potentials during routine pH measurement and helps keep the junction responsive in laboratory and process work. The same 3,5 M KCl composition is specified for the calcium combination ISE HI4104 and for the reference electrode HI5315 when that electrode is paired with the calcium ISE half-cell HI4004, so one refill grade covers both pH and selected ion-selective setups. Supplied in a plastic bottle containing 460 ml of solution from manufacturer Hanna Instruments, the product is ready for electrode filling and top-up without further dilution. Pack configuration is four pieces per unit, suited to multi-electrode benches or stock replenishment. Net weight is 0,607 kg and gross weight 1,607 kg. Use according to the electrode manufacturer’s filling instructions to preserve junction performance and measurement reliability across double-junction pH sensors and the listed calcium ISE assemblies.

Questions about 3.5M KCL electrolyte solution for double junction electrodes, 460 mL
What is this article?
3.5M KCL electrolyte solution for double junction electrodes, 460 mL is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
