Description

B-SAFETY First Aid Kit CLASSIC is a wall-mountable emergency case filled in accordance with DIN 13157 for workplace and laboratory first-aid readiness. The robust housing is moulded from impact-resistant, break-proof ABS plastic in high-visibility orange and is fitted with a rubber gasket that helps keep dust and splash moisture away from the contents. Transparent cover plates protect the dressing materials and other fill items, while adjustable divider strips allow the interior layout to be adapted to local stock requirements. The case can be sealed for tamper evidence and is supplied complete with a wall bracket; a 90° locking stop holds the lid open when the unit is mounted on the wall, so both hands remain free during treatment. External dimensions are 310 × 210 × 130 mm (W × H × D). This CLASSIC model from manufacturer B-SAFETY is intended for fixed installation in production areas, workshops, laboratories and similar environments where a compact DIN 13157 first-aid assortment must be immediately accessible. Supplied as a single complete unit ready for wall mounting and filling control.

Questions about B-SAFETY First Aid Kit CLASSIC - contents according to DIN 13157

What is this article?

B-SAFETY First Aid Kit CLASSIC - contents according to DIN 13157 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes B-Safety for laboratory use. It sits in First aid, fire & emergency equipment, inside Emergency & first aid, in Lab safety equipment.

First-aid kits, extinguishers, fire blankets and related equipment are specified by the hazard they answer. An extinguisher has a class, for ordinary combustibles, for liquids or for gas, and the wrong class makes a solvent fire worse. A kit's contents and its expiry dates are the product, not only the box.

Emergency equipment is what is used in the first minute: an eye-wash bottle or a plumbed station for a splash, a first-aid kit, a fire blanket or an extinguisher of the class that matches the fuel. The eye wash has to be reachable and, if it is a bottle, within its expiry. A station that is blocked by a trolley is not a station. Practice is described by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. The chemical that caused the splash is classified under the CLP Regulation.
