Description
BOLA laboratory screw joints HT with GL 14 thread are high-temperature laboratory fittings for hose outer diameters of 2,0 mm, combining a black PPS-glass fibre screw cap with PTFE-wetted inner sealing parts. The assembly uses a PPS clamping ring plus a sealing wedge and sealing plate in PTFE; an additional FKM O-ring is included for hose outer diameters smaller than 3 mm and stays out of contact with the flow medium. Only PTFE meets the medium, providing good chemical resistance for demanding laboratory tubing connections. The black PPS-glass fibre cap and SW 17 wrench size support secure installation on GL 14 ports in analytical and process-lab setups. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this HT screw joint is suited to fluid handling where temperature stability of the cap material and inert PTFE sealing surfaces are required. Net weight is 0,01 kg. A practical choice for renewing or expanding GL 14 hose connections that must remain chemically robust and mechanically reliable.

Questions about BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 14 Ø 2 mm SW 17 Glass-fibre reinforced PPS c
What is this article?
BOLA HT Laboratory Screw Joints, GL 14 Ø 2 mm SW 17 Glass-fibre reinforced PPS c is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
