Description

BOLA Mini 3-way stopcock with UNF 1/4'' 28G connections is a compact three-way valve made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for laboratory tubing and fluid-handling applications. It features a T-shaped bore together with three ports configured as two internal UNF 1/4'' 28G threads and one external UNF 1/4'' 28G thread, allowing flexible media switching or distribution in miniature circuits. The valve matches tubing with an inner diameter of 1,6 mm and an outer diameter of 3,2 mm (1/16 × 1/8''). Overall height including the shut-off handle is 20 mm and total length is 42 mm; the plug is fabricated from FEP for reliable sealing and smooth actuation. Chemically inert PTFE wetted surfaces support use with aggressive solvents, aqueous buffers and many analytical reagents in chromatography, sample preparation and general laboratory routing. This mini stopcock from manufacturer Bohlender is supplied as one piece with a net weight of 0,01 kg and delivers a durable, corrosion-resistant solution for compact experimental systems where chemical resistance and media purity are required.

Questions about BOLA Miniature 3-Way Stopcocks, UNF 1/4'' 28G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm PTFE, T-pieces

What is this article?

BOLA Miniature 3-Way Stopcocks, UNF 1/4'' 28G, Ø 1,6 x 3,2 mm PTFE, T-pieces is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
