Description
BOLA Reactor Lid EX, DN 100 / H 31 mm with 6 × NPT internal threads and centre neck 1/2'' is a dissipative PTFE-EX reactor cover for glass reactors DN 100 equipped with a SCHOTT flat flange. The conductive material supports controlled electrostatic behaviour during laboratory and pilot operations. Screw-in NPT threads accept transition fittings for probes, feed lines and accessories, and a top-side bore with M5×6 internal thread enables a dedicated grounding connection. Port arrangement includes NPT 1/2'' connections directed to the shaft and aside the shaft, plus NPT 1/4'' ports for aside-shaft and vertical use, giving flexible multi-port access around the centre neck. With a height of 31 mm and a net weight of 0,5064 kg, the lid matches common DN 100 plan-flange reactor geometries. Offered as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this BOLA EX lid is intended for modular reactor builds where multiple NPT interfaces and reliable earthing are required without changing the flange interface.
This article is part of Reaction vessels & jacketed vessels, in Beakers & flasks.

What is this article?
BOLA Reactor Lid EX, DN 100 / H 31 mm 6x NPT female threads: center neck 1/2, la is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Reaction vessels & jacketed vessels, inside Beakers & flasks, in Labware.
A reaction vessel is the flask a synthesis actually runs in, sometimes jacketed so a fluid can heat or cool the wall. The joints, the working volume and the jacket connections are the specification. It is not a storage bottle.
A beaker is an open working vessel: easy to pour, poor as a measure. An Erlenmeyer flask has a flat base and a conical wall so a liquid can be swirled without climbing out. A round-bottom flask is for heating under a condenser, because the heat meets a curved wall and the joint at the neck connects to the rest of the glassware. Borosilicate is the glass that survives the temperature change. These forms are listed under ISO laboratory glassware.
