Description

BOLA Temperature Probe Lemo (PT 100) is a laboratory temperature sensor with a PT 100 measuring element sealed in a PTFE-coated stainless steel tube (1.4571). PTFE jacketing provides chemical resistance while the stainless steel core delivers mechanical stability for immersion duty. The probe measures 8 mm in diameter, with a 6 mm tip and a 12 mm drop-protection ring. Electrical connection uses a 1,5 m PFA-coated cable fitted with a Lemo® size 1 plug in 4-wire configuration for precise resistance measurement. Typical response times are T50 of 7–12 s and T90 of 14–16 s. Usable probe length is 600 mm and overall length is approximately 660 mm. Available from manufacturer Bohlender, this longer-format probe supports laboratory and process temperature applications where PTFE-protected PT 100 sensors are required. Net weight is 0,21 kg. Pack size is one piece.

What is this article?

BOLA Temperature Probes Lemo (PT 100), Ø 8 mm, L 660 mm PTFE/Stainless Steel, us is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Temperature probes & sensors, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A temperature probe is the sensor, Pt100, thermocouple or thermistor, that a meter or a logger reads. The probe, not the display, is what is calibrated. The sheath material and the response time matter in a liquid versus a block.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
