Description
b.safe Elbow Connector for Waste Pipe is a rounded pipe elbow of approximately 90° (92°) made from electrically conductive PE-EX for rigid laboratory waste pipe runs. Both ends are clamp connections for inserting and locking b.safe Waste Pipes with 32 mm outer diameter, enabling a same-size change of direction without leaving the 32 mm clamp system. Each clamp joint includes one PE-EX union nut, two conical PTFE-EX sealing rings and one EPDM O-ring for a tight, chemically robust seal. Envelope dimensions are 100 × 100 mm (L × H), and the fitting incorporates a gradient to favour continuous drainage through the bend. Conductive PE-EX construction supports static dissipation when conveying organic solvents and other laboratory waste streams. Supplied as a single piece with a net weight of 0,066 kg from manufacturer Bohlender, this double clamp elbow is intended for modular b.safe waste manifolds, HPLC solvent collection lines and related laboratory installations that require a 32 mm-to-32 mm PE-EX elbow with defined slope.
This article is part of Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, in Waste disposal.

Questions about b.safe Elbow Connector, 92°, 2x Ø 32 mm static dissipative PE-EX, 92° pipe bend,
What is this article?
b.safe Elbow Connector, 92°, 2x Ø 32 mm static dissipative PE-EX, 92° pipe bend, is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.
A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.
Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
