Description
Cuvette type 109-QS is a precision spectroscopy cell made from high-performance quartz glass for use with magnetic stirring bars. It covers a wavelength range from 200 nm to 2500 nm with a 10 mm path length and a fill volume of 1500 µl, and is supplied with a magnetic stirring bar and PTFE folding lid. Hellma® precision cuvettes are manufactured fully in Germany and fit common spectrophotometers. Thermal bonding rather than adhesive joining gives high resistance to temperature and chemicals and helps prevent unwanted leakage. Selected high-performance quartz glasses deliver excellent transmission above 82 % for accurate readings, while bevelled edges support safe handling and reduce chipping risk. Cells can be cleaned and reused for long service life. Production follows EN ISO 9001 / EN ISO 14001; a declaration of conformity is available from the Hellma website, with further certificates on request.
